About Andrea
Andrea's passion for the Healing Arts began over 25 years ago during her travels in South East Asia and India. Originally her journey began as a path of self discovery, exploring various meditation techniques and yoga, which eventually led her to a deep desire and need to be of service and to help others.
Upon returning to Canada, her love and deep respect for Ancient Eastern Healing, led her to a school in Campbell River BC, where she became a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, which comprised of learning the basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupressure, Somatic Healing, Holistic Nutrition, Energy Work, Chakra and Crystal Healing.
Feeling the need to have a more balanced approach to client care, both alternative and allopathic in nature, in 2010 she became a Registered Massage Therapist. She found being educated in both ancient and modern modalities, gave her a better overall outlook on how to best help her clients.
Her ongoing discovery of the body/mind connection also led her to become a Reiki Master. She finds Reiki to be a powerful yet gentle, healing force that addresses all levels, physical, mental, and emotional.
Whether it be relief from physical pain or discomfort, to help alleviate mental or emotional stress, or to dive a bit deeper, she would be honoured to help you!
