Andra’s interest in alternative health started right out of high school, when she completed her diploma in Shiatsu and went on to practice in resorts in Whistler and Haida Gwaii. She journeyed to Australia, where she spent five years studying an Advanced Diploma in Oriental Health Science, and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Complementary Medicine in 2009. Back home in Canada, she continued working in Whistler and Haida Gwaii, and then went on to work at Mica Heli near Revelstoke. Meanwhile, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Andra is also a certified Health Care Assistant.
Andra is presently completing a post-graduate diploma in Manual Osteopathic Therapy through the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada. This modality is a unique, hands-on therapy working with structural and functional imbalances and aims to assess and address areas of concern in a gentle, non-invasive way, while encouraging the body’s innate ability to self-regulate and heal back to a state of balance.
