About Ana

I know how painful it can be to feel like you don’t quite fit—whether it’s in your family, your relationship, your workplace, or within yourself. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to navigate a world that demands high performance while carrying deep, painful beliefs about yourself—perhaps feeling like the ‘black sheep’ or struggling with a diagnosis. These internal struggles can leave you feeling disconnected, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. If you ever feel like life could just be better somehow, you’re in the right place. Therapy provides a space where a person can be truly seen and heard, often in ways they haven’t experienced before. When someone’s suffering feels deeply understood, their nervous system can settle, allowing them to explore emotions, challenge long-held beliefs, and experiment with new ways of being. This process isn’t just intellectual—it’s experiential. The therapist-client relationship itself becomes a model for healthier attachment, emotional regulation, and self-acceptance. By engaging in this deeply personal work, you don’t just learn new coping skills—you internalize a new way of relating to yourself and the world. This shift is what creates lasting change. As a Registered Provisional Psychologist, I provide a compassionate, experiential, and emotionally focused approach to therapy, helping people uncover the unconscious patterns that shape their lives. By integrating systemic perspectives with modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts Work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help guide my clients toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-acceptance. I also work with children and teens using Play Therapy, EMDR, and expressive arts. I believe healing is always possible, and there is no deadline. Maybe healing isn’t about becoming the ‘best version of yourself’—perhaps, healing is letting the worst version of yourself be loved. I am here to walk with you on that journey, back to yourself, when you’re ready. People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.” ― Carl R. Rogers, A Way of Being
