About Amy

Care work has always been at the heart of what I do. I began my career with children and families, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care and a Certificate in Infant Development and Supported Child Development. Over the years, I’ve supported children and adults with diverse needs, worked as a nanny, supported families in the public school system, and owned and operated a daycare. My path into birth work began after the birth of my own children. I realized just how deeply the care we receive during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can shape us. These experiences open us, change us, and can leave us feeling empowered and overwhelmed. Feeding journeys are similar: breastfeeding and chestfeeding can be beautiful, confusing, emotional, and complex all at once. My goal is to ensure that new parents and lactating individuals feel supported in their decisions, heard in their concerns, and validated in their experiences. The right support at the right time can change everything. As a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, I offer person-centred care that honours both you and your baby. I take the time to listen to your challenges and your goals, and I work alongside you to help you feed your baby in a way that truly works for your family.
