About Amy

Amy Gaudette(She/They) is a Registered Massage Therapist who is known for her attentive, compassionate, and welcoming energy in the treatment space. Her approach blends deep tissue work, trigger point release, PNF, scar tissue and adhesion frictioning, myofascial techniques, and relaxing Swedish massage. Guided by her extensive knowledge of anatomy and assessment skills, she creates individualized treatment plans tailored to each client. She is certified in Cupping and IASTM (Instrumental assisted soft tissue mobilization). Committed to inclusivity, she works with clients of all body types and backgrounds, empowering them through both in-clinic care and home guidance to feel supported and respected throughout their therapeutic journey. Amy graduated from The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) as Valedictorian of their class in 2023. As elected by CCMH faculty, Amy was awarded the “Certificate of Excellence” presented by the Massage Therapy association of Nova Scotia. Amy is now a Lead Instructor at CCMH, where she teaches clinical sciences, with a focus on understanding common musculoskeletal conditions and guiding students in safe and effective application of hands-on techniques. Amy’s journey in movement and healing began in 2015 with Reiki Levels 1 and 2 and expanded through the movement art of NIA (Neuromuscular integrative Action), Hatha yoga, and Mystical dance training across Canada, India, and Thailand. Her dedication to strength training led her to compete in her first powerlifting meet in Halifax in 2024, where she earned a bronze medal. She now focuses primarily on mobility, stability, functional movements, and hypertrophy training. This work complements her massage therapy practice, offering a well-rounded approach to understanding and supporting strength, recovery, and overall body awareness. Amy’s 10+ years of experience in customer service, her time working in health care, and the privilege of traveling have all shaped the way she connects with people. These experiences have taught her how to listen deeply, hold space for others, and meet people where they are - values that remain at the heart of her work today. In Amy’s free time, she can be found cooking at home, camping, hiking, dancing to live music, learning Salsa, or at the gym lifting weights. She remains steadfast in her pursuit of learning the art and science of the human body.
