Amrit graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor's in Human Kinetics in 2006 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2011. She gained comprehensive patient care skills during a specialized residency at a Seattle orthopedic and sports medicine clinic. Specializing in manual therapy and functional dry needling, Amrit is actively advancing her expertise in orthopedic manual therapy and exploring visceral manipulation techniques.
Before beginning her physiotherapy career, Amrit worked as a Kinesiologist and a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist. A former varsity volleyball player at UBC, she continues to lead an active lifestyle, enjoying running, hiking, yoga, and various sports.
