About Amita

Hello! I am a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of communication needs. My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and individualized, with a focus on helping clients build practical skills that support communication in everyday life. I provide both assessment and intervention, and incorporate strategies that can be carried over into home, school, and community settings. I work with pediatric and adult clients experiencing speech sound delays, receptive and expressive language challenges, literacy difficulties (reading and writing), social communication concerns, fluency (stuttering), and accent modification. I understand that it can be difficult to know when to seek support or how to navigate communication challenges, and my goal is to create a supportive and comfortable environment where clients and families feel heard, understood, and guided throughout the process. I am committed to helping clients build confidence in their communication and develop skills that feel meaningful and functional in their daily lives. Therapy may include direct intervention, parent coaching, and individualized strategies designed to support progress outside of sessions. Together, we will identify goals and work at a pace that feels right, focusing on building a strong foundation for long-term success. If you are looking for support with speech, language, or communication, I am here to help you better understand your needs and take the next steps with confidence.
