Amit earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley and went on to complete his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney in Australia.
His passion for health and recovery grew out of a lifelong involvement in sports, where he experienced and witnessed injuries and the dedication it takes to recover. These moments sparked his interest in physiotherapy and set him on a path to help others get back to doing what they love.
Before moving to Australia, Amit worked as a Kinesiologist, where he developed a strong foundation in exercise prescription and active rehabilitation. He now integrates that background with hands-on clinical experience, using manual therapy techniques for soft tissue release to treat both acute and chronic injuries.
Amit has worked with a wide range of patients, including athletes, individuals recovering from surgery, and those with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Outside of work, you’ll likely find Amit staying active—whether it’s weight training, playing ice hockey, golfing, or going for a run. His commitment to an active lifestyle continues to drive his passion for helping others move and feel better.
