LOCATION Victoria Dr. BIO Amendeep (Amen) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master's Degree in Counselling. She has worked in the mental health field in various capacities for over 15 years. Amen has extensive work experience with both youth and adults. Her approach is tailored uniquely to the needs of each individual. She draws from a variety of modalities, meeting individuals where they are in their journey. Passionate about neuroscience and psychoeducation, Amen emphasizes the powerful connection between the mind and body in her work. She has supported individuals navigating challenges, such as, trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression, and relational or situational struggles. Amen integrates cognivitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches, as well as talk therapy. She has also received training in psychodrama and storytelling techniques, which she uses to help clients process and make meaning of their experiences. Amen believes that everyone has a story and that each person is the expert of their own story. She strives to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their stories and discover their unique strengths. Her work is guided by empathy, curiosity and respect for each individual’s personal growth journey. She is fluent in English and Punjabi.
