I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist (#P8141) with the College of Alberta Psychologists offering services to couples and individuals aged 16 and older. I hold a B.A. in Psychology that I obtained from the University of Lethbridge and have completed my M.A. in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. My focus throughout my education has been on women's health, perinatal mental health, disordered eating, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. As both a mom and a bonus mom, I am deeply passionate about supporting women and parents who are navigating the emotional and mental challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. My approach is client-centered, rooted in cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques to foster a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and validated. Committed to promoting healing and positive change, I collaborate with clients to explore their emotions, identify strengths, and empower them to achieve personal growth. I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact on mothers and families during this transformative time. In addition to working with women in the perinatal period, I also support individuals facing a range of life challenges. Whether dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, grief and loss, or personal growth, I help clients build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve personal well-being. My goal is to empower each client, fostering strength and clarity in their personal journey. Amber is not accepting new patients at this time.
