About Amanda

Amanda specializes in treating children (7+), teenagers and adults (of all ages) through various mental health and life adversities. Whether it be baby or pregnancy loss, grief, divorce, parenting, relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, OCD or personality disorders, Amanda has unique interests and experiences to support you. Amanda worked as a teacher primarily in special education for 12 years supporting students with their academic and social/emotional needs. She became extremely passionate about mental health and finally made the career shift in 2021. She is thrilled to be able to apply her passions to a career full time. Amanda will work with you to decide the best course of treatment based on your needs whether that be Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy or Emotion-Focused Therapy.
