About Amanda
Amanda completed her Master's in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta and her Bachelor's in Community Rehabilitation at the University of Calgary. She is an Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) Authorizer for the primary product range, and can help pediatric and adult patients obtain cost-shared equipment such as bathing/toileting aids, soft splints, and walkers. Amanda has worked in clinic, multiple long-term care facilities, and a hospital emergency department. Since becoming a mother — her son was previously a patient at Stork — working with infants and children has become the focus of her career. She offers empathetic, patient, holistic care as both a physiotherapist and the mother of a little one who needed some help along the way. She believes education, exercise, and movement are key to successful rehabilitation, and would love to develop a care plan specific to your needs in the comfort of your home.
