I believe that our relationship to ourselves and the people in our lives are at the core of our sense of love and belonging. When we feel strain and hurt in our relationships it can lead to feeling stuck, anxious, depressed, not good enough, grief, anger, and more. Often the root of these patterns leads us back to our early life relationships and how it shaped our attachment, communication, and conflict patterns. Together, we will explore the ways these experiences have impacted you so that we can acknowledge the pain, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, and develop new healthy patterns. Whether you’re coming individually, as a couple, or with your family member, we will work collaboratively to understand and treat your concerns from a holistic perspective. I use an eclectic approach to create an adaptable therapeutic space. I invite clients to show up as they are, where your body’s innate wisdom can guide us where it needs to go, no strict agenda required. I have found my Internal Family Systems (IFS) work with clients to be incredibly deep and healing, while drawing upon other approaches like Emotion-Focused, Attachment-based, Sex-informed, Somatic, Cognitive Behavioural, Psychobiological, and Systemic. My goal is to make your therapeutic space inviting and safe where both laughter and tears can happen in the same session. I am here to hold a genuine and nurturing space and challenge your growth. You deserve to heal, be at peace within, trust yourself and others, and thrive in your relationships.
