About Alyssa

Alyssa is NOT accepting ICBC or WCB patients. Alyssa graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2018. She learned her love for massage at a very young age from her grandmother who would teach and practice with her. After sustaining multiple injuries from being in multiple motor vehicle accidents, Alyssa always returned to massage therapy for recovery. This sparked her desire to become an RMT and help her clients to have better health & well being. She's eager to listen to her clients and tailor each treatment so that it's effective and specific. Alyssa's knowledge has helped her personally recover from surgeries and injuries from sports and lifting/crossfit. Alyssa worked as a massage therapist at Spa Utopia, Orenda Wellness before opening up her own home business. Her technique style is Swedish massage with joint mobilization, active stretching, trigger point release and neuromuscular technique. Her massage therapy school offered outreach programs which gave her knowledge in working with many symptoms & conditions. She has experience in treating prenatal/postnatal patients, headaches, tendinitis, nerve impingement & syndromes, overuse & imbalances in posture, and arthritis. When Alyssa is not at work you can find her with her family. She is very busy with two little boys. She loves travelling, going to the gym, walking her dog, hiking and camping. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you reach your treatment goals!
