Alyssa completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Western University and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Child Studies with a minor in Psychology from the University of Guelph. She has a strong background working with children, including several years of experience as an Early Childhood Assistant, where she supported children from 10 months to 5 years of age through play, social activities, and daily routines.
Alyssa completed her final clinical placement at Oscar’s Place, where she gained experience working with children in areas such as emotional and sensory regulation, motor skills, self-care, and participation in everyday activities. Through this experience, she developed a passion for working alongside children and families to set meaningful goals and help children build confidence, independence, and skills for everyday life.
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time outdoors, hanging out with her family and friends, and cozying up with a good book!
