Embarking on the journey of support is a courageous step toward healing and growth. Within my practice, I strive to cultivate a space where vulnerability is both encouraged and embraced. As you begin your therapeutic journey, you will be met by a tapestry of feelings! My hope is to provide a space where you feel safe to share your thoughts and emotions, all while knowing you are not alone. A little about me, I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW), with years of experience working alongside a diverse group of individuals. Within my practice, I offer compassionate care to individuals grappling with the complexities of death and bereavement. More notably, I have both a personal and professional experience surrounding the nuances of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD); a very personable and individualistic experience. My approach is rooted in anti - oppressive and trauma - informed practice, whilst utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as the foundation of grief counselling. Over the course of my career, I have completed my BA (couples and family therapy); Bachel or of Social Work; and Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto. Additionally, I have specialized training in Death, Dying and Bereavement, with a special focus on MAiD. The threshold of vulnerability is where the transformation begins.
