About Alysha

My name is Alysha, and I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I am dedicated to fostering a therapeutic space where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued—a space where you are welcome to show up as you are. I believe healing begins with self-acceptance and self-compassion. Grounded in a trauma-informed, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive approach, I recognize the profound impact of past experiences, systemic barriers, and personal hardships on one’s sense of self and overall well-being. My work is centered on helping individuals navigate systemic challenges, reclaim their identities, and recognize their inherent strengths as they move toward healing and self-discovery. I am committed to cultivating an inclusive and affirming therapeutic environment where all identities and lived experiences are honored and respected. Fun Fact: I was awarded an NCAA Division 1 soccer scholarship and have competed internationally as a member of the Canadian Women's National Soccer Team, traveling across Canada, the United States, Norway, Brazil, and China.
