About Allison

Registered Social Worker - Psychotherapist Credentials: MSW, RSW DIRECT BILLING available - please inquire NIHB Provider - please inquire Hi, I’m glad you’re here. If you’re looking for a therapy space where your experiences are met with curiosity, care, and openness, you’re in the right place. I’m a consent-based, trauma-informed therapist whose work is grounded in the recognition that each person’s stories, strengths, and complexities matter. I believe therapy works best when people are invited to feel curious about themselves and free to move at their own pace. I offer individual therapy for teens and adults, as well as family therapy. I understand that family can take many forms, and I’m interested in hearing about the people and relationships that matter in your life. My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative, creating space for you to show up fully. I support people navigating a range of experiences, including life transitions, advanced illness, grief and loss, parenting and family relationship challenges, identity exploration, body image, anxiety, and depression. I bring an anti-oppressive and anti-racist lens to my work, holding space for personal healing while recognizing how broader systems shape our mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. As a queer woman, I’m passionate about supporting 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and families while welcoming people of all identities. My work is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Narrative Therapy, and I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and a focus on meaning-making. I also incorporate experiential and creative practices, offering different ways to connect with your inner wisdom. I have over 20 years of experience in education and mental health, including six years as a therapist. My background includes work as a wilderness guide, nature school educator, therapist at a non-profit agency, and youth and family support worker at a wilderness-based substance use program for teens. These experiences continue to shape my deep respect for people and the many different paths we take toward healing and growth. If you're interested in working with me, I'd welcome the chance to connect. I offer free 20-minute consultations where you can ask questions and see if we feel like a good fit.
