About Alison
Ali is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner based in Vancouver, BC. She holds a Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Specialization in Kinesiology) from Western University. She is also a member in good standing with Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN).
With over eight years of post-secondary education, Ali's approach is rooted in a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the interconnectedness of the body. Her treatment philosophy focuses on viewing the body as a whole, making anatomical connections between areas of dysfunction to identify the root cause of discomfort. Rather than simply treating symptoms, she aims to support the body's natural ability to self-heal and self-regulate. Her patient-centred approach ensures that each individual feels comfortable, supported, and heard throughout the treatment process.
As a former competitive hockey player, varsity flag football athlete, and now a dedicated distance runner, Ali understands how discouraging it can be when pain or injury prevents you from doing what you love. Her goal is to help patients move better, feel better, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
