About Alina

Dr. Alina Jandu was born and raised in Oakville, Ontario. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Growing up, Dr. Alina was involved in a variety of sports, including hockey, soccer, and running. In high school, she discovered a passion for fitness and has since developed a love for weightlifting, indoor cycling, hybrid training and Pilates. As a certified group fitness instructor, she teaches indoor cycling and Pilates, giving her firsthand insight into movement, performance, and injury prevention. This experience allows her to better understand the physical demands her patients face and informs her approach to exercise prescription and rehabilitation. Dr. Alina treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, acute injuries, chronic pain, and nerve and disc-related conditions. She also provides maintenance care to help patients stay active and healthy. She believes in empowering patients through education and collaborative care, helping them build confidence in their movement and return to the activities they enjoy. She takes an evidence-informed, patient-centred approach to treatment, tailoring each care plan to the individual's goals, lifestyle, and values. Her treatments may include manual therapy, joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, cupping therapy, athletic taping, and personalized rehabilitation exercises. Outside of the clinic, you'll likely find Dr. Alina training for her next race, lifting weights at the gym, trying different group fitness classes, exploring new coffee shops, or spending time with family and friends.
