About Ali

Hi! I'm Ali, the occupational therapist at Spark Therapy Collective! I earned my Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Manitoba in 2017. I am certified by the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM). I have years of experience supporting children and families across Manitoba. My background includes working in hospitals, community programs, and schools, which has given me a well-rounded perspective on how to best help kids succeed in their daily lives. My passion is pediatrics—helping kids build the skills they need to thrive in their daily lives, whether that’s learning, playing, or becoming more independent. I take a hands-on, strengths-focused approach, meeting each child where they are and building on what they already do well. I love finding creative ways to help kids navigate sensory challenges, develop motor skills, and feel successful in the routines and activities that matter most to them. I believe OT should feel supportive, practical, and fun, and working closely with families is a big part of what I do. Together, we find strategies that fit naturally into everyday life, helping children thrive, explore, and feel empowered every step of the way. I know that every child is unique, and my goal is always to empower both kids and parents, making the journey feel encouraging, achievable, and full of successes.
