About Alex

Alex is completing her final semester of the Dual Diploma of Herbal Medicine & Holistic Nutrition, having graduated from the Diploma of Herbal Medicine in May 2026. Her studies integrate traditional and contemporary approaches, with an emphasis on socially and ecologically conscious care. Alex also holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Concordia University, where she focused on environmental, food, healthcare, and gender politics. Alongside her experiences as a chef and organic gardener, this continues to shape her practice, grounded in the understanding that health and healing are relational—shaped by our bodies, cultures, communities, environments, and access to care and nourishment. Working collaboratively with clients, Alex draws on nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle practices to create individualized health plans that reflect each person’s circumstances, capacity, and goals. She offers gentle support that honours the body’s innate capacity for healing and hopes to help clients cultivate sustainable changes, a deeper understanding of their health, and a more connected relationship with nourishment. Alex is passionate about providing inclusive, trauma-informed, neurodivergent- and queer-affirming care. She welcomes all bodies, identities, and health concerns, with particular interests in the interconnections between digestive, nervous system, immune, and hormonal health. She feels most at home experimenting in the kitchen, tending the garden, exploring the woods, travelling, reading tarot, playing music and board games, painting, and cuddling with her cats.
