Allie is a thoughtful, and client-centered therapist. She is a registered social worker, and holds a Master’s in Social Work, Bachelor’s in Social Work and Psychology, and a graduate certificate in Mental Health and Disability Management. Allie’s experience expands across both individual and system-level social work, giving her a unique understanding of the broader challenges that can affect mental health and wellbeing. Her work in community mental health settings — including hospitals and intensive treatment programs — has equipped her to support individuals through crisis management, community resource navigation, and goal-oriented therapy. Allie’s approach to sessions, is to invite clients to slow down, reflect, and explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Working from a trauma-informed, client-led perspective, Allie integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet her clients' goals. These include Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework, as a foundational model, and additional therapeutic modalities like Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT, including EFT-Y for youth), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) to meet clients where they are at.
