About Ajit
Ajit Kumar is a licensed Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with over 14 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and manual therapy. With an international background in physiotherapy and rehabilitation sciences, he combines gentle hands-on osteopathic techniques with evidence-informed exercise prescription to help patients move better, recover from pain, and improve their overall function.
Ajit believes that patient education is an essential part of the recovery process. His calm, collaborative approach empowers individuals to better understand their condition, build confidence in their movement, and safely return to work, sport, and everyday activities.
Every treatment plan is tailored to each individual's unique needs, goals, and lifestyle rather than focusing solely on symptoms. Ajit takes a whole-person approach by integrating manual osteopathic treatment, rehabilitation exercises, and therapeutic modalities, when clinically appropriate, to support long-term recovery, restore function, and promote independence.
Ajit takes a hands-on, evidence-informed approach to treatment, using targeted soft tissue techniques, joint articulation and mobilisation (when clinically indicated), and muscle energy techniques to restore movement and reduce pain. He has also completed additional training in kinesiology taping, advanced soft tissue release allowing him to tailor treatment to each patient's individual needs.
