About Ainur

Initially trained in the Gestalt approach, Ainur brings over 30 years of experience working with individuals and couples. Over the years, she has expanded her training to include a range of evidence-based modalities and now works from an integrative, client-centered framework. She also completed the Intensive Sex Therapy Training Program at the University of Guelph. Ainur’s approach is grounded in a holistic understanding of human experience, exploring how psychological, emotional, relational, cultural, and developmental factors shape each person’s patterns, beliefs, and well-being. She supports clients in deepening their self-awareness and developing more adaptive ways of relating to themselves and others, using person-centered and experiential methods, including emotion-focused therapy. She has extensive experience supporting clients dealing with relationship and interpersonal difficulties, trauma, abuse, chronic emotional distress, severe and persistent mental health issues, and psychosomatic concerns. Alongside individual and couples therapy, Ainur also offers Dreamwork in the Gestalt tradition. Her interdisciplinary background, which includes a medical degree obtained outside of Canada, extensive psychotherapeutic training, and decades of clinical practice, allows her to offer clients comprehensive and nuanced care. Ainur offers therapy in Russian and English.
