About Ahmad
Hello, I am Ahmad and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I am a part-time employee at Rush & Associates Psychotherapy and Wellness.
My philosophic approach is client-centered, where safety, trust, and confidentiality are the pillars of the therapeutic relationship. I do provide psychotherapy in both English and Arabic (all dialects), and work with adults, teenagers, couples, and families. My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitional challenges, couples & family, trauma, substance abuse, grief, and attachment.
I believe that to best address mental health challenges it is beneficial to draw strengths from various therapeutic approaches in a fashion tailored specifically to each individual client, ensuring the client’s benefits and therapeutic goals at the heart of the process.
I understand that although psychotherapy is essential for our individual wellbeing, but it can be financially straining. As such, I do offer a free-of-charge 30-minute intake session. Additionally, I do offer sliding-scale rates to allow everyone better accessibility to this essential service regardless of the financial situation.
