About Abby

My name is Abby and I am a provisional psychologist at Wholesome psychology. Being your therapist is a task that I don't take lightly and my goal is to create a space where you can show up as your authentic self and feel truly seen, supported, and understood. I believe that growth happens through connection, self-awareness, and compassion, and therefore I too aim to bring my most authentic, present self and offer curiosity and respect in each of our sessions. In our work together, I aim to meet you where you are, helping you build insight, resilience, and practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. Every person is unique, and I aim to honour that individuality in my approach to therapy. Together, we’ll explore your experiences and work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. My work is guided by a person-centered and trauma-informed lens, drawing from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy.
