About Zoey

Zoey specializes in supporting second-generation immigrant Canadians, working professionals, and both domestic and international students as they navigate life stresses and mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. She understands the unique mental health obstacles faced by second-generation Canadians, influenced by cultural identities, childhood traumas, family conflicts, and systemic oppression. With experience assisting EFAP clients, Zoey addresses workplace-related and familial stress. Whether you’re dealing with a toxic environment, life transitions, unemployment, or interpersonal issues, she can help you navigate these challenges. Recognizing that work stress can impact family life. Zoey is also equipped to support you with relationship concerns, parenting stress, or any issues affecting your family's well-being, guiding you toward a healthier balance. Additionally, Zoey has worked with domestic and international students coping with academic stress, co-op pressure, family expectations, social isolation, and relationship difficulties. Her approach is centered on creating a safe space for you to discuss your struggles. Zoey believes that strong therapeutic relationships foster healing, and she aims to connect with you and hear your stories in the supportive environment of the therapy room. Using techniques from CBT, DBT, EFT, SFBT, and IFS-informed therapy, Zoey helps you discover the inner strength to address your challenges. As a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO, she holds a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Spiritual Care from Wilfrid Laurier University.
