Waqar holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Community Physiotherapy from India and has more than 15 years of experience helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. His career has spanned a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient rehabilitation, intensive care units (ICUs), private clinics, and multidisciplinary tertiary care hospitals. This diverse background has provided extensive experience in treating patients with a wide range of conditions across all stages of recovery. Proudly serving the Calgary community, Waqar is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care in a welcoming and supportive environment. He values continuous learning and regularly enhances his skills to ensure patients receive the most up-to-date treatment approaches. Waqar has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries involving the shoulder, neck, back, knee, and ankle. He also has experience in the assessment and management of vestibular conditions such as dizziness and vertigo, as well as temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders that can cause jaw pain and stiffness. Treatment is tailored to each individual's needs and may include manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilizations and soft tissue therapy to improve movement, relieve pain, and restore function. Every treatment plan begins with a comprehensive assessment to identify the underlying cause of symptoms and establish meaningful goals. Waqar believes that informed patients achieve better outcomes.
