When I was exposed to strength training in high school, health and wellness became a foundational part of my life. It's something I believe to have always kept me grounded, and delving into all the different facets of health along the way gave me such enjoyment. I wanted to continue my education in a similar field which led me onto my journey of becoming a RMT.
I would say my treatment approach focuses primarily on regulating the nervous system. I believe tremendously in the effects of relaxation, desensitization, and movement when receiving massage therapy and I try to incorporate these aspects by applying techniques slowly and progressively. My aim as a practitioner is to provide a safe space for patients to feel comfortable while working towards their goal, and to encourage a better understanding of health and wellness.
Away from work, I will usually be found lounging in my garage gym, or going on relaxing walks with a podcast or audiobook playing!
