Vanessa has been practicing as an RMT since 2015. She acquired her Diploma at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, B.C. Vanessa knew she wanted to be in the healthcare field and, after some research, came across massage therapy. It sounded like the perfect fit. So, she packed up her home and headed to the Island. Vanessa is thankful to have found a career that she is passionate about and finds great fulfillment in helping patients achieve their wellness goals. In treatment, Vanessa uses techniques such as; trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue massage and muscle stripping. Although Vanessa is most known for her deep pressure, she is able to cater to all pain tolerances and needs and works with an array of patients. She strives to attain positive results and appreciates seeing her patients improve their well being. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys to spend her time outdoors. She can be found at the beach, camping, side by siding or with friends around a fire; during the spring and summer months. She also plays on a local softball team. Vanessa prefers to bask in the sun, but she still enjoys winter for the sole purpose of snowboarding. Vanessa is delighted to be back in her hometown of Vanderhoof, helping her patients feel their best while building positive therapeutic relationships with them.
