Tru started giving massages when he was in grade 6 and quickly became popular for them. It was an easy choice for him to attend the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and graduated from their 3 year, 3000hr program in 2001. Since then he's accumulated a wide range of experience, from working in both Physiotherapy and Chiropractic clinics, as well as providing on-site massage in hospitals, palliative care, and seniors homes.
Tru's approach is direct and effective, always listening to the clients needs, preferences, comfort levels, and goals for the treatment, and adapting his approach as necessary. In his last year in Vancouver he was voted the #2 therapist in the city in Georgia Straight's "Best of Vancouver Awards" before moving to Vancouver Island.
Tru is the proud father of 3 amazing boys, loves outdoor activities, gardening, philosophy, self-sufficiency, science in general and environmentalism.
