Tracey McGowan is a Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in women’s health, urology, and sexual health, and extensive research into menopause and its treatment options, she is passionate about providing comprehensive, individualized care to women navigating hormonal changes. Her expertise in both traditional and alternative approaches to treatment—including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT)—aligns perfectly with the holistic care model at Maliya. Tracey truly believes that there is a place for both approaches, and she is confident that her unique perspective benefit patients. Tracey has supported many menopausal and perimenopausal women through tailored treatment plans that include HT, BHRT, and non-hormonal therapies. Her biopsychosocial approach to healthcare allows her to address the full spectrum of a patient’s needs—physical, psychological, and social—ensuring that each patient feels empowered to make informed decisions. She is experienced in conducting comprehensive health assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing treatments through local pharmacies, while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Tracey is registered with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta, a member of the North American Menopause Society, and the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC).
