I have been going to Kamloops physiotherapy for the last year. The front desk staff is always so welcoming and happy to help. Tim Schmidt was so helpful with getting my Worksafe claim sorted while also being very knowledgeable. He never makes me feel like I have silly question and he seems to really care about the end results. I am now in recovery from a sports injury and as a competing athlete there’s a lot anxiety and worry about getting back to competition. After seeing Tim for the first time since this injury I now feel very comfortable because I know that Tim really wants to see the best results and has my goals in mind. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and have no doubts that I won’t see the results I need to get back to competing because of his help.

This place is awesome. This past winter I somehow herniated a lower back disc and also had 2 bulging discs. I've personally never felt pain like that in my life! I quite literally couldn't could not sit down for 21 days as it was completely unbearable. All I could do was stand and slightly lean on my kitchen counter and sleep straight as a board on my side propped up by pillows. It was awful! My doctor told me a very well could be looking at surgery but to try this first. I called for an appointment and they got me in the day after which is really important when your in that much pain. I began seeing Tim and he immediately gave me some gentle stretches to start doing and helped me figure out some small things I could do to relieve the pain a bit and start the healing process. They did help! He was always careful not to hurt me and checked often to make sure he wasn't. He went at my pace instead of trying to push me to go at his pace. It was easy to trust him quickly which, imo, is important when someone is working with your body. I'm so grateful to him for helping me avoid surgery this time and teaching me how to avoid it in the future through core strength and proper posture. The staff were all kind and friendly and they faithfully called to remind me of my appointments the following day. I will definitely be returning to Kamloops Physiotherapy in the future if I ever need this kind of help again and I strongly recommend them to anyone who is in need!
