About Tatum

Tatum Shantz is a Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a strong background in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and movement-based care. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College (2024), and a diploma in Massage Therapy from the Ontario College of Health and Technology (2025). While Tatum has extensive experience supporting athletes in sports like hockey and lacrosse, she also enjoys working with individuals of all ages and activity levels recovering from injury or surgery. Her focus is always on meeting clients where they’re at—whether that means returning to high-performance sport, staying active later in life, or simply feeling more confident and mobile in daily routines. Tatum values ongoing learning and continually expands her knowledge to support the evolving needs of her clients. Tatum’s treatment philosophy centers on the belief that movement is medicine. She emphasizes education, hands-on care, and customized exercise programs to support long-term health and well-being. Her goal is to help each client move better, feel better, and stay active – no matter their age or lifestyle. Outside the clinic, Tatum stays active herself through hockey, strength training, and riding her motorcycle. She also enjoys connecting with family and friends in her free time.
