About Tanis
Tanis is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with extensive experience supporting individuals and
families through life's complexities. With a compassionate and client-centred approach, she
combines her 20-year background in youth and family support, nutritional consulting, Reiki, and
human resources with her Master’s in Counselling Psychology to bring a holistic outlook to
mental health.
Tanis believes we all have a personal narrative that only we are the experts in. Dedicated to
providing a caring, respect-focused therapeutic experience, Tanis is passionate about
supporting clients navigating major life transitions such as divorce, grief, career changes, and
identity discovery. With a warm and inclusive approach, Tanis creates a safe space for
exploration and growth, collaboratively supporting clients on their journey toward healing and
resilience.
Sessions with Tanis are often a blend of tears and laughter, vulnerability and relatability, release
and learning, all leading to profound personal insights and growth.
Outside counselling, Tanis can be found spending time enjoying all BC offers with her big
blended family and two very spoiled cats.
