Physiotherapy has been my profession for over 30 years. Working in both public health care and private clinics across Canada has given me a broad outlook on how health care looks for many different cultures and clients. I've spent time working in ICU, post-operative trauma and joint replacement, as well as urgent care of motor vehicle accident clients, sports injury, complex/persistent pain in a clinic setting. I have a non-traditional approach to physiotherapy care that is very hands-on, with the expectation of clients taking ownership of their health care with guidance from their trusted care providers. I enjoy a holistic approach to care that includes elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, essential oils, yoga/meditation and movement-based rehabilitation practice. I offer needleless acupuncture (stim or tuning forks) for those preferring a less invasive approach to care.
Combining my practice of physiotherapy with the philosophy of yoga will allow the ideal combination of therapeutic skills to be available to my clients.
