About Susan

In our shared space, my commitment is to empower you, introducing fresh perspectives that can help you to find new ways of working, caring, and being, and equipping you with the tools you need to thrive. While I draw from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities – including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) – I understand the importance of tailoring my approach to your specific needs. Your journey is uniquely yours, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. My therapeutic practice is anchored in intersectionality, choice, and compassion. Vital to the work we’ll do is understanding how cultural and social structures impact your mental health, alongside your family of origin story that influences how you show up today. You hold the wisdom of your journey, and I’m committed to not imposing my own agenda onto you. Instead, I invite you to set the goals that you want to achieve and the pace at which we’ll pursue them. Together, we’ll create a space free from judgement, where you can uncover your own truths, listen to your own inner voice, and gently rediscover the essence of who you are, underneath all the stories that you may had to bear witness to and carry the weight of. So, whether you’re grappling with stress, trauma, identity, or life transitions, I’m here to offer unwavering support, every step of the way.
