About Susan
Susan is a skilled and compassionate massage therapist who cares deeply about the wellbeing of those she treats. She prioritizes listening and adapting to the needs of each person, and she feels strongly about supporting them to reach their health goals. She believes in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship.
Susan enjoys treating all sorts of soft tissue conditions and muscle tension. She has expertise in treating people who presently have, or have had cancer. She cares deeply about bringing a whole person approach to all of her work, but especially to her work related to cancer. Susan also specializes in helping people with TMD (jaw pain and dysfunction).
Susan has advanced training in the use of Manual Lymphatic Drainage for lymphedema and lipidema, cancer, varicosities, pre and post natal care, liposuction, cosmetic surgery, scars, burns, tinnitus, sprains and other soft tissue injuries and dysfunctions, sinusitis, and migraines, among other conditions.
She is a Combined Decongestive Therapist and is certified with the Dr. Vodder School.
Susan loves fantasy and sci-fi books, hikes in beautiful places, and time with her absolutely awesome family and dog! She especially loves combining as many of the above as possible!
