Where are you from? Vancouver, Canada. What were you doing before pursuing RMT? Before VCMT, I earned a diploma in Business Administration and worked as a manager at Save-On-Foods for 4 years. Why do you want to be an RMT? After experiencing a lower back disc injury at work, I found incredible relief through massage therapy and physiotherapy. That healing journey inspired me to pursue a career as an RMT. I’m passionate about helping others feel better, move better, and heal—just as I was supported in my own recovery. How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school? Outside of school and clinic, I’m usually out on a trail somewhere, hiking or walking through one of Vancouver’s many beautiful spots. I love playing basketball, it helps me stay active and clear my mind. And when I get the chance, I’m behind a camera lens, capturing the little moments that make life feel full. Movement, nature, and creativity keep me grounded — and that’s the energy I bring into my practice. What is your favourite thing about VCMT? There’s a lot I love about VCMT, but the best part has to be the people — from the amazing instructors, supportive staff, and of course, my cohort . We’ve built a little community here, and it makes the whole journey way more meaningful. Do you speak fluently any languages other than English? Hindi and Punjabi.
