About Stephanie

Hi, I'm Stephanie, an osteopathic manual practitioner (OMP) with a focus on providing preventative, maintenance, corrective, and palliative osteopathic care. In addition, I also offer a very integrated and unique service that provides both physical manipulations as well as guidance in stability training regimes. My training as an OMP places a focus on the principles of Classical Osteopathy, as defined by the founding father, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still. These principles emphasize the relationship between the structure and function of the anatomy, where the goal of treatment is to establish an environment of self-healing and regulation for the body. Occasionally you may find that in treatment, a certain area may hurt, but the practitioner works on a very different part of the body. It is not that the practitioner is ignoring your pain, but is searching for the primary cause of the dysfunction, a criteria that is met by the capacity of proper motion. Osteopathy requires not only a vast knowledge of anatomy and physiology, but also requires an understanding of the connection that exists between the two, how structure and function are reciprocally interrelated. When you have adjusted the physical to its normal demands, Nature universally supplies the remainder. —Philosophy and Mechanical Principles of Osteopathy Therefore, it is important for the practitioner to identify the cause of pain that an individual may be experiencing, and it is only by removing the root cause that the pain can be relieved. Therefore, Osteopaths search for the cause rather than treat the symptoms. Therefore, my goal of treatment is to provide the best possible care, tailored to the individual, to promote effective and efficient healing.

I am receiving treatment from Dr Stephanie Froll since October 2023. My goal is to be able to bend forward like a door hinge even if I am into my eighties 🤔 Dr Stephanie is knowledgeable and very helpful with what I want to accomplish. Her cheerful encouragement and perseverance keeps me going. My resolve gets strengthened more and more with each visit to her ☺ Guess what? Recently Dr Stephanie started encouraging me to consider trying out the G2G 130 km trail from Guelph to Goderich. Wow 😎 May be I will I recommend Dr Stephanie to anybody who wants to move free from where they are to where they want to be. 😇 Wish you all the best Dr Stephanie.

I met Stephanie at a wellness fair and shortly after, my osteopath moved. Stephanie treated me through fertility treatments and helped manage the physical hormonal changes (the jaw thing!!! Holy!!!!) and safely treated me when I was pregnant. My daughter was born by c-section and it was recommended that she saw an osteopath for some feeding challenges. Stephanie helped release tension in her head to help her nurse and separately to help hee move her head. I'm regularly going to maintain myself and look forward to taking my daughter as the years go on. I would recommend Stephanie to everyone I know... I'm so glad I met her at that fair!!

I have been receiving treatment by Stephanie for about two years and I'm so happy that my daughter recommended her. Stephanie's perspective and recommendations have impacted my health in a positive way. She goes above and beyond when manipulating whatever issues I bring in to her. With regular treatments for a chronic condition, I have been able to walk farther and taller. Stephanie is very knowledgeable and always professional and I highly recommend her.

I have been seeing Stephanie for treatment since 2018. I experienced some chiropractic adjustments that really went poorly and she was able to get my body back on track. I do a lot of physical work and her treatments are very helpful. Shes very good at explaining the parts of the body affected and how they interact and how to avoid reoccurances in injuries.
