About Stephanie

I support individuals, children, teens, and families who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck in difficult emotional and relationship patterns. Life can feel heavy when anxiety takes over, emotions feel hard to manage, or family relationships become strained. My goal is to offer a safe, compassionate space where clients can build understanding, resilience, and meaningful change. Many of the people I work with struggle with anxiety, emotional reactivity, overthinking, low self-confidence, relationship conflict, and attachment challenges. Children and teens may feel misunderstood, emotionally overwhelmed, or unsure how to express themselves. Parents and families often come to therapy seeking better communication, stronger connection, and a calmer, more supportive home environment. Together, we work to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and develop healthier ways of coping and relating. My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy. ACT helps clients develop emotional flexibility and move toward what truly matters to them, even when anxiety shows up. Solution-Focused Therapy highlights strengths, resources, and small steps that create real progress. Attachment-Based Therapy explores how early relationships shape emotional patterns, self-worth, and connection with others, helping families and individuals build security and trust. With children and teens, I focus on emotional regulation, communication, confidence, and building healthy coping skills in a developmentally supportive way. With families, therapy often involves improving understanding, strengthening bonds, and creating safer, more connected relationships. For individuals, we work on managing anxiety, clarifying values, setting boundaries, and building self-compassion. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you’re feeling anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin, support is available. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can ask questions and see if we’re a good fit. If you’re looking for an anxiety therapist, child therapist, teen counsellor, or family therapist, I would be honoured to support you on your journey toward emotional wellness and stronger connections.
