About Sonja
Sonja started SCS Physio in 2018 and loves providing patients with an alternative to the traditional physiotherapy clinic setting.
Sonja's interest in physiotherapy started when she was 16. She had multiple subluxations of her shoulder playing basketball, which required labral repair surgery. She underwent intensive physiotherapy at this time and hasn't left the clinic setting since!
Sonja graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 2011 and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2013. She started her career in Alberta and moved to the Okanagan in 2016.
When not in the clinic, you can find her skiing, golfing, playing tennis and baseball, or hiking. She is a bookworm, foodie and loves to travel.
