I am a Registered Psychotherapist offering a warm, compassionate, and humanistic approach to therapy. My work is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, grounded in the understanding that our past experiences shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Together, we will explore how your life experiences have influenced who you are today, while creating space for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My professional journey has been deeply shaped by my commitment to supporting individuals from marginalized communities—particularly those who have felt unheard or silenced when it comes to their mental health. As someone who comes from a marginalized background, I understand how difficult it can be to open up, especially in spaces that may not always feel safe or affirming. I strive to honour each client’s unique story by providing a non-judgmental, collaborative, and supportive environment where your voice truly matters. Trauma, whether from sudden life events or ongoing relational experiences, can leave lasting emotional and relational impacts. Attachment patterns formed early in life can affect self-esteem, boundaries, relationships, and our ability to reach our full potential. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, anger, low self-worth, or feeling stuck during a particular phase of life. My goal is to help you process these experiences, heal attachment wounds, and develop healthier ways of relating—to yourself and to others. Together, we can work toward building strong boundaries, self-compassion, and habits that support long-term well-being. I also specialize in sex therapy, supporting individuals and couples with concerns related to intimacy, sexual trauma, gender identity, desire, and relationship challenges. I offer a respectful, affirming, and open space to explore these deeply personal experiences. By understanding the root causes of intimacy concerns, we can work toward healing, connection, and a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and your partner. My therapeutic approach integrates psychodynamic, emotion-focused, inner-child, and sex-therapy frameworks, alongside CBT and DBT techniques to address present-day challenges. This holistic approach allows us to explore both the deeper, unconscious patterns that influence your life and the practical tools needed for day-to-day change. Above all, therapy with me is collaborative and paced at your comfort level, with your goals guiding our work.
