About Simone

Simone graduated from McGill University in 2016 with a Master of Science, Applied, in Physical Therapy after graduating from McMaster University in 2014 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She furthered her education by completing a Diploma in Massage Therapy at the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in 2018. She believes that an injury has both physical and psychological aspects, and it is important to address both components in the rehab process. This may include techniques to minimize stress or rethinking how you interpret your injury. Her love for living an active lifestyle, including running, swimming and dancing, led to her interest in a career in physiotherapy. Simone is looking forward to learning more about the sport of cheerleading and working with everyone in the CheerMed community!
