Shasta’s journey into massage therapy began after years of working as a ski patroller and wildfire fighter, both of which sparked a deep interest in the human body, injury recovery, and the healing process.
With a focus on athletes and “occupational athletes”, Shasta is passionate about helping clients stay pain-free and perform their best. Her practice emphasizes relaxation, pain relief, and personalized home care plans to support ongoing self-care and injury prevention. Shasta utilizes a combination of Swedish and myofascial techniques, deep tissue work, trigger point release, and facilitated stretching to address a wide range of physical concerns.
Shasta is committed to trauma-informed care, creating a safe, supportive environment for clients who may be dealing with physical or emotional pain. She believes that massage therapy should be a space for healing and restoration, and she strives to offer each client a sense of ease and well-being.
Shasta is an avid backcountry skier, runner, and climber. She is also pursuing her ski guide certification and is a certified 200-hour yoga teacher. Her passion for yoga and injury recovery informs her approach to client care, with a focus on long-term wellness strategies and holistic healing.
