Hello! I’m Sasha Ormiston — Registered Acupuncturist, co-owner of Opal Wellness, and founder of Nurture and Flo Wellness Clinic.
I’m endlessly inspired by the magic of nature, the quiet beauty woven through everyday life, and my journies through life, pregnancy, motherhood and healing. These experiences have shaped both who I am and how I practice — guiding me to create clinic spaces that feel deeply nurturing, intuitive, and rooted in care.
I’ve been practicing acupuncture for over 12 years, and my approach has continued to evolve alongside the many individuals I’ve had the honour of supporting. My treatments are grounded in the belief that true wellness happens when we tend to the nervous system and emotional body, not just the physical. Whether supporting clients through hormonal shifts, fertility journeys, skin concerns, or times of emotional overwhelm, my work is always about creating safety, balance, and connection from within.
Over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for facial acupuncture and microneedling — gentle, natural treatments that support everything from fine lines to acne to rosacea and more. But for me, beauty is about so much more than appearance. It’s about feeling at home in your body and in your skin — and I love helping clients find that with the holistic effects of acupuncture.
I also support clients through all stages of their reproductive health — from hormone balancing and fertility support to pregnancy care and postpartum recovery. Working with the cycles and transitions of the body is one of the most meaningful parts of my practice, especially knowing how much this medicine supported me in my own journey.
