Education: Sarah obtained her Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph; majoring in Psychology and minoring in Family and Child Studies. Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist and is an active member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) & the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), and the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP).

Therapeutic Approaches: Sarah operates from a trauma-informed framework and is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Mindfulness, and uses evidenced-based clinical techniques to help you learn healthy ways of coping.
Specialities: Sarah particularly enjoys working with individuals with concerns relating to: anxiety, assertiveness, boundary setting, career or work issues, communication skills, depression, difficulties in relationships, emotion regulation, emotional neglect in childhood, feelings of inadequacy, life transitions (career, work, school), low self-confidence, self-acceptance, self-care, self-love and compassion, stress management, and work, school or life balance.
