About Ryan

Ryan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) dedicated to helping people reconnect with their authentic selves. Growing up as a sensitive child, Ryan learned to repress his emotions to avoid appearing weak. This experience led him on a personal journey of healing and self-discovery, ultimately inspiring his career in counselling. With an MA in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University and an undergraduate degree in Counselling and Human Services from Columbia Bible College, Ryan brings both academic expertise and personal insight to his practice. He is a member in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Ryan's approach to therapy is highly relational and experiential, rooted in the belief that healing occurs through genuine human connection. He creates a warm, compassionate space where clients can explore their inner worlds and work towards living fully and freely. Ryan is trained in several therapeutic modalities, including Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Viewing human relationships as both potential sources of joy and catalysts for growth, Ryan is passionate about guiding others through their journey of self-discovery and healing. He believes that everyone has a unique core self that holds the blueprint for a fulfilling life, and he considers it a sacred privilege to help clients uncover and embrace their true selves.
