About Rachel

Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Alberta and a Masters in Counselling Psychology degree. Rachel enjoys working with individuals and teens, believing that empowering clients and building them up to their best potential and to assist in their healing journey is an effective approach to her practice. Rachel offers low cost therapy and offers day and weekend hours. Alongside Rachel's private practice, she works at a non-profit government organization supporting individuals who are facing challenges related to addiction, physical health, and mental health. Rachel also has experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma using a variety of modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy. Rachel's counselling approach is grounded in person-centered principles, allowing her to tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the client.
